Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has reassured the nation that the senior women’s national football team, the Black Queens, is safe and secure in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This comes amid escalating tensions and military actions in the Middle East.
In a statement released on Sunday, March 1, Mr Ablakwa confirmed that he has been in direct communication with the team’s leadership to verify their well-being.
He emphasised that Ghana’s diplomatic mission in the UAE is actively on the ground, providing full consular support to the delegation. #MyJoyOnline
