HBC is hands down one of the best professional circuits for rental go karting in Malaysia! The fully outdoors track features high speed straights, fast corners and challenging braking zones that makes it an enjoyable karting experience.

Horizon Motorsports SODI RX8 tackles this circuit amazingly with decent speed and handling to do 1 second laps or lower!

The RX8 had a good balance and throttle response, as the track is wide enough for these karts to explore the limits. It was well optimised to tackle the long corners with sufficient grip and didn't feel too edgy as it leans towards more understeer. It may not be as feature rich or as quick as the SODI RT10s, but it does the job well for this track making it a fun drive.

Some downsides is that the kart is missing safety features like seatbelts and the brakes needs some learning as it felt either too light or too heavy at some corners. Where it was tricky to get hard braking correctly without stepping out the rear.

Located at Beranang (Kajang/Semenyih), about a 50 minutes drive from KL. This newest track is top in setup quality and professionally maintained circuits I've seen for go karting locally. Equipped with floodlights, a digital lighted flag system and good amenities (convenience shop, showers, view decks), this has to be one of Malaysia's best and latest go karting places to visit! The staff here are nice, pleasant and helpful!

The track is a hybrid circuit that can be used for motorcycles, bikes and professional karts. With multiple variants for different circuit layouts. The standard variant has speedy long straights, fast corners and hard braking zones for the challenge. As it is really wide, its nice to explore the different areas of the track and it's great for beginners to enjoy karting as there's plenty of room.

Some key points of this track is to get the braking right, at the end of the long straights there will be hard braking zones to master slowing down from the high speeds. The faster corners lean towards being taken at highspeed or full throttle, with only a few sections being at low speed. Avoid taking on the kerbs too excessively. Several of the kerbs are quite bumpy that may unsettle the kart. Instead, use the kerbs as visual references to know the brake lines/zones.

A decent lap would be within the 59s to 1.05s second range, with faster times being lower at 58s to 57s. You can do around 8 to 9 laps for average speed, while faster drivers could achieve 10 laps here per 10 minute session.
