The future of women’s health is at a critical crossroads. Innovations in precision medicine and environmental epidemiology have unlocked methods for more accurate diagnoses and more effective treatments of women’s health conditions. Yet, challenges to public understanding as well as social inequities continue to thwart scientific and therapeutic impact.
The 2025 Harvard Radcliffe Institute science symposium explores cutting-edge developments in research and clinical medicine—related particularly to the complexities of X- linked cancers and factors that differentially affect the course of women’s lives—as well as the societal backdrop in which these advances occur. The program features a keynote by Elizabeth Comen, physician and author of the bestselling book, All in Her Head: The Truth and Lies Early Medicine Taught Us About Women’s Bodies and Why It Matters Today.
