Today we’ll be looking at the Legiones Astartes ‘Unaligned’ Rites of War. That is, those generic Rites of War that you can find in the Legiones Astartes Army Books. Over three separate videos, we’ll be looking at all nine Rites of War, analysing them against three key metrics. Fun, Lore and Power.
Fun is pretty self-explanatory, and obviously the most subjective, but I’ll rate it on how fun I think this Rite of War will be to bring to the table. The Lore category will judge how well the Rite of War enables players to design narrative driven armies. And finally, power will assess how strong an army using this Rite of War could be on the table. I’m also keen to look at which Legions would do well selecting each Rite of War.
This is Part One of Three for this series. This video will look at the Legion Recon Company, Angel’s Wrath and Sky-Hunter Phalanx Rites of War.
