Orpheus Choir, of which I myself am a happy & proud Alumnus, was one of the first choirs that Bill Gaither personally contacted to SING at his Indianapolis Event back in 1974!

For upwards of 30 years, Bill & Gloria Gaither's Praise Gathering For Believers was the multi-day Christian Music & Inspiration Conference which was once held at The Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis IN.
Beginning in 1974, The Gaither's first organized The Praise Gathering to not only to be The Premiere event for long-standing well known Christian Music artists to to showcase their talents, it was also an event where up and coming Christian Artists and Speakers to get some exposure in a tried and true audience, already loyal to the Gaither Family of Artists.
