Teen out on bond arrested for car thefts using cloned key fob

Описание: An 18-year-old Tacoma man was arrested by the Renton Police Department (RPD) for several charges surrounding two car thefts, which they say he achieved using a key fob programming device to gain access to the vehicles—all while out on bond from another case.

The 18-year-old is believed to have used a device to reprogram key fobs of his own to gain access to a Jeep Cherokee SRT from Renton in August, and a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk from Seattle in October, which also contained identification materials for a woman, and a man's handgun.

He's also accused of having two more stolen vehicles at one point or another.
