Описание: This summer I rented a house for my friends in the sleepy eastern part of Nantucket Island. Siasconset, commonly known as Sconset, is located at the eastern end of Nantucket about eight miles from town. Originally a fishing village, this charming and picturesque community is full of modest, rose-covered cottages. The Sconset market carrot cake is something not to be missed if you visit this part of the island. The market also has fresh produce, most grown locally and a daily rotation of different ice cream flavors. This part of the island is a 15 or so minute drive from downtown but also accessible by bus.
