Theres a ton of really good racing games for the super Nintendo
But top gear has always stood out to me, if nothing else but for its amazing soundtrack
and when I say amazing soundtrack I mean every single song is an absolute banger
I wish my copy was in a bit better condition but such is the way of the early 2000s thrift store
This is one of the few oldschool racing games that really nailed the feeling of speed
you really feel like your going all out
Theres also an element of strategy here you can pick between four different cars and have to decide when to stop to refuel because you can actually run completely out of gas and end up sitting on the track like an idiot
Its surprisingly popular to this day in brazil, its achieved legendary cultural status there
If you've never tried it out you should give it a spin
I would love to know if its two sequels are any good, because I've never tried them
