In the outskirts of NYC, a HAM operator has been broadcasting a live radio network where HAM radio operators can get their kids on the air and talk with a Santa impersonator! This is a fairly new but genius idea, starting back in the 2021 winter season. Unfortunately, I have just found out about this, and the CQ Santa net ends on the evening of December 24th, 2025. Well, at least in the timezone of EST.
If you wanna tune in next year, then you can! The earliest time that the CQ Santa net can open is on the evening of Thanksgiving on every year, and ends on the evening of Christmas Eve. (the early morning of Christmas for UTC people)
