From November 5th to November 8th, dozens of men's sheds members descended upon Killarney National Park to tackle the ongoing scourge of invasive rhododendron. The initiative, instigated by Haven Pharmacy and supported by the National Park and Wildlife Service and the Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce, successfully cleared 60 acres of the park. The men's sheds members were treated with incredible warmth, generosity and kindness by the hotels, restaurants and people of Killarney.
