Pick the PassWort

Описание: In this episode of Pick the PassWort we focus on two topics that cause difficulties for many German learners: verb conjugation and grammatical gender.

German verbs are usually taught through long conjugation tables. While these tables are useful for reference, they are not an efficient way to internalize verb forms. In this video I show a different technique: conjugation training with music. Rhythm and melody help learners recognize patterns and remember verb endings much more easily.

The second topic is German noun gender (der, die, das). Because gender in German is often unpredictable, many learners try to memorize every noun together with its article. Unfortunately, this strategy often makes learning even more complicated.

At ling.academy we therefore use a different method: a color-coding system developed specifically to make gender patterns easier to recognize and remember.

This approach helps learners build a more intuitive understanding of German word structure and gender patterns.
