Leapmotor C10 hybrid 2025 review: New range-extender electric car targets BYD Sealion 6 PHEV

Описание: The 2025 Leapmotor C10 is already doubling down on its attack on Australia's mid-size SUV segment with a new powertrain option, dubbed REEV. It stands for Range Extending Electric Vehicle, meaning it introduces an internal-combustion engine to extend the driving range of the otherwise fully electric car.

Confused? Don't be. The new C10 REEV combines a 1.5-litre petrol four-cylinder unit with a 158kW electric motor. The former acts as a power generator for the 28.4kWh battery pack that can also be charged via a plug, while the latter exclusively drives the wheels. The end result is a NEDC-rated driving range of 1150km and an average fuel consumption of just 0.9L/100km.
