My biggest tomato so far. 4Lbs 0.6oz (1.8 kilograms). Big Zac.
8 tomatoes weighed in from 2 plants.
Plant A; 1.85lbs , 2.06lbs , 2.36lbs, 2.52lbs and 3lbs.
Plant B; 2.64lbs, 2.81lbs and 4.04lbs.
For a total of 21.28lbs from eight tomatoes averaging 2.66 lbs ea.
Started my plants the last week of March and planted them out in late May. When I replant from their starter pots to the 3" pots, I dust the roots with some mycroizie. In the garden I use compost and some dry chicken manure (brand; Chickity doo doo). Chopped straw for mulch. On the big Zacs, I pinched out all the suckers and only let about 5 or 6 fruit develop. One or two on a cluster. I picked off any deformed or small tomatoes and only let the biggest ones on the vine. As the vine reached about 5-6 feet I cut the top off.
