Then six lives gone in one night.
This isn’t one man’s crime, dost. This is the system failing — again.
Shabad, Rangareddy. Rajkumar, a farmer. May 16: POCSO for stalking a 17-year-old. June 12: anticipatory bail on 20k bond. July 10 night: he killed the girl, her mother, grandmother, his wife and two small kids.
Reports from Sakshi, The Hindu & Andhra Jyothy confirm: police did nothing for 10 days despite clear warnings. Family flagged mental health & threats. Only “counselling” happened. SI later suspended. Bail law only asks “how serious is the section?” — never “how dangerous is this man?” Victim had no lawyer in court — just a witness. No psychiatrist report reached the judge.
He died later. No trial.
But the questions are still alive:
Risk ignored in bail? Same.
Victim silenced in courtroom? Same.
Mental health dismissed? Same.
Another Rajkumar is walking free right now — legally — on 20k bond.
