Gift of the Givers, is urging South Africans to put the spirit of Ubuntu into action this festive season.
The humanitarian organisation officially launched its Spirit of Ubuntu campaign (on Friday), at The Zone Shopping Centre in Rosebank, Johannesburg, creating a permanent space for donations of food and other essential.
The campaign comes as hunger and poverty continue to deepen and increase across the country.
Gift of the Givers is calling on communities and shoppers to help respond to what it calls, South Africa’s greatest crisis.
