Описание: "Charmy" 1960 ? twin cockpit Wooden Clinker Ski Boat built by Darcy Wells , Peakhurst , Sydney , Australia .Affiliations with Henry Goldsborough back in the day . Bought in 1989 as a project ( wreck ) it has taken over 30 years for me to complete the rebuild . In my ownership I managed to keep the boat out of the elements inside workshops etc which maintained the project viable . A 318 Polyhead Chrysler direct drive V8 as original was retained . Replacement engine block & heads sourced from an unsuspecting Dodge Pheonix undergoing a power upgrade . Semi dry sump original modification retained but a period heat exchanger from USA added to ensure longevity of this engine by way of closed cooling system with electric circulation coolant pump. Larger replacement fuel tank required new bulkhead to be added to rear cockpit making rear seating slightly cosier than original. All other running gear original.
