Spoiler Warning! This video contains spoilers up to the end of Season 3.
Like many others, I need time to process the end of Season 3. I trusted the showrunner to treat the lesbian couple in The Wheel of Time with the utmost respect. For 23 episodes, that trust seemed more than justified - he even made them soulmates. And then came the Season 3 finale. I think it's time for the American Psychiatric Association to add another post-traumatic stress disorder to the DSM: STSDLV (Secondary Traumatic Stress Disorder of Lesbian Viewers).
And yet, would I have preferred the Moiraine/Siuan storyline to have ended after the second season? No! I loved Season 3, including the Moiraine/Siuan scenes. I just really wish that a queer couple that has so many fans would finally get a happy ending - even if it was in Season 8. Well, hope dies last, I guess. Anyway, this video is part of my healing process.
