This first part of the series is mainly dealing with the background information needed in order to build up to the parity method I use for multiBLD.

That being said: this is probably going to be a lot of stuff you already know if you're an intermediate or advanced 3BLD or multiBLD solver. If you fall in that category, you'll probably know at least everything up until the basic way of dealing with parity with UF/UFR with UF-UR parity swap.
