Pass Christian Beach is located in Harrison county of Mississippi. It is part of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It is surrounded in 3 bodies of water such as The Gulf of Mexico (South), Bay St. Louis (west) and the long stretch of bayou called Delisle (north).
Hurricane Katrina made its way to Pass Christian and destroyed majority of the old homes and mansion along the coast. The tall majestic oak trees survived this devastating disaster.
Pass Christian is just about 35 miles from Slidell and 66 miles from New Orleans. This is a perfect getaway for people who just want to enjoy a bit of the sand and water with just a short drive.
There are a lot of restaurants around the area. Shaggy's is one of my favorite. The open area where I can feel the gulf breeze and the easy going atmosphere tops my list.
