SO PART 2 HERE!
got them done!
was quite the work sanding the lips to get them right, I got the centres sand blasted and painted! (although had to sand the edge back lip back and the hub matting surface as they were not meant to be painted!!!!)
I used:
-sika flex silicone Grey sealant, 2 week on, still holding good!
-threadlock
-sand pads, fine, med course,
-240-2000 sand paper wet/dry
-scotch bright drill bits
-SCA alloy polish kit (3 part compound one)
-the wheels ended up weighing 17x9 9.6kgs, 17x8 9.3kgs.
