The gas carrier MV Gas Al Negeh, boasting a record parcel size of 28,378 Tonnes, was berthed at the Port's oil jetty on 12.06.2025. This vessel, with a length overall (LOA) of 225.48 meters, arrived from Ras Laffan, Qatar, loaded with LPG, Propane, and Butane.
This marks a significant increase from the previous highest parcel size handled at the port's Oil Jetty, which was 23,000 Tonnes. The consignment is destined for the Indian Oil Corporation, with Samsara Shipping serving as the vessel's agent.
