The Sgt. Pepper covers continue with Track #11, Good Morning Good Morning. Inspired by a commercial for Kellogg's Corn Flakes, the song is one of the more complex songs on the album, with time signatures bouncing between 4/4, 2/4 and 5/4, and the poly-rhythmic grooves that are heard throughout the song that are played by both Ringo and Paul.
I played a second floor tom part to recreate the second kick drum that is overdubbed in the recording that Paul played. I tried multiple ways of muffling to get a sound that is close to what is on the record, and the closest thing I could get was a green hand towel that I found. The sound is not exact, but I do believe it is very close to what is heard.
