The mother eagle of this nest, known as "Mom," lost sight in her right eye following a series of fierce owl attacks in the past.
Despite this, she is incredibly brave, never letting her disability hold her back. Alongside her partner, "Dad," she continues to fiercely protect their new lives throughout the 2026 season.
Raising eaglets with only one eye is an immense challenge, but watching her feed her young and stay vigilant against predators is truly inspiring.

Welcome to the Winter Park Eagle Cam, a 24/7 live stream featuring a wild bald eagle pair nesting in Winter Park, Florida. This eagle live cam offers a real-time look at bald eagle behavior, nesting activity, courtship, feeding, and daily life in their natural habitat.

These Florida bald eagles do not have names yet — stay tuned as their story continues to unfold. Notably, the female bald eagle is blind in one eye, yet she continues to successfully hunt and thrive, showcasing the incredible resilience and adaptability of this iconic raptor species.

The Winter Park eagle nest has an impressive history, having survived multiple hurricanes, and remains an important nesting site year after year. More detailed nest history and eagle updates will be shared as the season progresses.
