Transcription of John Coltrane's tenor saxophone solo on "Robbin's Nest". This was recorded for a Prestige Records session on September 20, 1957 with Frank Wess, Paul Quinichette, Mal Waldron, Doug Watkins and Art Taylor. The session was released the following year as Prestige 7131 "Wheelin' and Dealin'". It's one of the few recordings of Coltrane shredding in Db concert. "Robbin's Nest" was composed by the great Illinois Jacquet and Sir Charles Thompson.
