Model of the RMS Titanic made out of LEGOs, floating in my swimming pool. This model was built to big and built fast, so there are quite a few details that were left out, mainly on the boat deck.
This contains shots of my model, along with random titanic facts and I also take it apart to show you how i get it to float
This model is 7'5" long, and is constructed with roughly 8,500 LEGO bricks. The model weighs 33 pounds. To get this model to float, it is filled with containers. This is because water leaks thru the cracks between the LEGO bricks. To keep it ballast, the ship is filled with coins.
Music used is the Weiner Blut Waltz (Op. 354) by Johann Strauss.
