The last time I played and posted an attempt at this Bass side was all the way back on August 21st of 2024. The score on that had actually been the same as the score on this one is. This one counted up from 99.7% to 99.8% and then dropped back to 99.7% Accuracy again after I clicked "Accept" at the end of the attempt. The previous attempt had done the same thing. What that indicates, besides the score not being better, is that I missed a single note on both attempts. So, technically this was a tie but I surmise only in score.
I have A LOT of time and practice into this in that year since and I'm far better at all of this now than I was then. I this still is far from perfect but I have little doubt that the precision, clarity, smoothness, and over-all sound of the attempt, are going to be better than a year ago. I'll eventually get the 100% but it wasn't to be on this one. That's not surprising considering I was over 5 to 6 hours into practice when I played this one. I was tired and what I screwed up was just a slight and quite accidental bending of one of the top string on a transition. That's all it takes.
