Iain Forrest is an MD-PhD student who's found a way to combine his passions and bring music to hospital patients.

Through private performances at New York's Mount Sinai Hospital, he hopes to uplift patients' spirits.

'I like to try to heal people through medicine,' he says. 'And in the other hand, I also like to try to give people music performances to uplift them too.'

Iain's mission to bring music to unexpected places extends outside of the hospital, and he's been giving virtual concerts this summer to raise funds for health care organizations.
