I did this trek from 19 - 23 April. It was a 5 day trek. In this video I have shown footage from the first 3 days, till we reach Har ki Dun. There wasn't supposed to be as much snow as there was in the month of April. But who knew that we would get such heavy snowfall in the midst of summer. The mountains have their own seasons and moods I guess.

I did this trek with the Himalayan Maple company. We stayed in Osla village. Which, by the way, is the best place to experience the local village life, the culture and the people.

I would like to apologize for not being able to show a clear view of the har ki dun peak. I tried for 2 days to get a better view, but it was very foggy.


If you want to meet villagers on the trail, get a chance to see some animals, listen to the sound of rivers flowing down, meet kids (keep lots of chocolates with you because they will ask for some), then Har Ki Dun is the place for you.
