Fast and Furious - Steel Challenge Match - GM times with Rimfire Rifle and PCCO, with guest shooters

In this latest video, we review footage from April 3rd of 2025. I cut back on shooting for a year, but getting ready to shoot the Area 4 Championship match in May.

I competed in two divisions - Rimfire Rifle Open Division & Pistol Caliber Carbine Open, also known as RFRO and PCCO. One of the interesting things about steel challenge is that each match last between 3-4 hours, sometimes longer depending on squad size and pace. However, the total time spent shooting is usually less than one minute on good day, and just over one minute on bad day. It takes a ton of focus to turn on your best game for the ~2 minutes you get in the box on each stage.

As mentioned, I was a bit rusty from only shooting one other match since Last April, and none with rifles., but still managed to hit my goal of sub 40 seconds for 5 stages with rifles, though I did have a few hiccups.
I still managed to shoot over 100% for the entire match, which was awesome.

Overall a great day of Steel Challenge shooting with great people, which is what makes Steel Challenge such a fantastic sport.
