Three things to keep in mind about Alto K10 for highway use. First, Performance: The Alto K10 is a capable highway car. Despite its small size it is confident the 100kmph mark. The punchy engine doesn’t feel strained at that speed either. Second, cabin insulation: While the engine isn’t noisy- you will have to speak louder because the road and wind noise does come into the cabin. You will have to increase the volume to be better able to listen to music or podcasts. Third, fuel efficiency: The K10 returned 22 – 24kmpl consistently when travelling on the highway between Pune and Mumbai.
