Review of Mae Fung Water Park | Isan Family Water Park in Chaiyaphum

Описание: Mae Fung Water Park is a local Isan water park in Chaiyaphum. As one of only 3 amusement parks to get in the roller coaster database within the Isan region, and the only outside of Korat, Mae Fung Water Park holds a special place in my heart - as I have lived with my wife in both Korat and Surin - as this is something for the Isan region to be proud of. For that reason, I believe this is a place all coaster enthusiasts should go.

For those visiting, there may be a mix of feelings as to the worth of this place. Mainly, it consists of smaller slides and family areas - but, this park was busier than many much larger parks that I've visited both in Thailand and Vietnam. The beauty of this park is experience the culture of this region and Thailand as a whole as this is much more the experience of going to a local community swimming pool verses a larger theme park.

Sadly, they no long have their Heaven roller coaster. With the distinctly Thai theming that they put around many of their other attractions, I feel the theming on their Heaven Roller Coaster would have been a nice touch - and with their main customer base of families, it makes so much senses for a park like this to have a few kiddie rides, such as a small coaster. For now, I can appreciate the experience they offer, but I greatly wish that they do, once again, get a coaster to be back on the map of those seeking coaster credits and experiences.
