Description from Planet Sinclair: People have been so engrossed in the YRGB 2025 competition that they've forgotten that the BASIC 2025 competition is still accepting entries (and will remain so until October 31st). And today a new entry appeared in the compiled BASIC category.

As you may have already gathered from the game's title, Mega Serpent, developed by Wave, is a highly competent clone of Snake (there was already an entry in the pure BASIC category by Zé Oliveira, Upgrade Snake ). The speed is simply astonishing, requiring ultra-fast reflexes to catch all the fruit.

Another of this game's strengths, making it a serious contender to win the category, is the many available add-ons . Not all of them are favorable to the player, as some, for example, increase the snake's speed, making it even more uncontrollable. Furthermore, the bonus screens throughout add a very special touch to this game.
