I had heaps of fun getting the IL-2 gameplay for this video compilation! Trying to land a jet aircraft such as the Me-262 when on fire is not an easy task!
In the late stages of World War II the Me-262 Jet aircraft was introduced as a last ditch effort to repel the Allied Forces. It had an enormous advantage over other fixed-wing Aircraft of the time. However, the Jet Engines were notoriously unreliable and prone to catching FIRE! In this video game compilation I do my best to replicate what an engine fire in a me 262 jet aircraft would have been like. IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad provides a perfect World War II flight simulator environment to simulate such scenarios. The devs have done a great job to polish the damage model in the game. Recreating in a flight sim jet engine fires is not an easy task, however, il 2 has done a stellar job in this area!
I hope you enjoyed watching this compilation from the flight simulator IL-2. IL-2 can be played offline or in online multiplayer. Both options are fun and I recommend that you try it out!
