Moses and Jesus: The Prophetic Pattern Most Christians Have Never Seen

In Acts chapter 7, Stephen reveals that Moses was rejected by Israel the first time he came to deliver them. That rejection becomes a powerful foreshadowing of how Jesus would be rejected at His first coming. But the story doesn’t stop there.

After being rejected, Moses flees to the Gentile land of Midian, where he meets seven daughters at a well, protects them from evil shepherds, and later takes a Gentile bride. This paints a stunning prophetic picture of Jesus being rejected by Israel, turning to the Gentiles, building His Church, and taking a Bride during the Church Age.

Then suddenly, Moses is called back to Egypt to rescue Israel — and devastating judgments fall on Pharaoh and Egypt. These plagues mirror the judgments we see in the book of Revelation, revealing a powerful Exodus–Revelation prophetic pattern that points directly to the end times.
