Описание: Time for the Fairfield Horseshoe!
This week I parked in Ambleside and walked up past the University onto the Fairfield Horseshoe. Unfortunately, I twisted my ankle climbing up onto Hart Crag, which put a bit of a dampener on things. After a good nights, rain free, bivvy, I packed up and began the painful trip back down (after climbing up onto Fairfield itself of course!)
The views were spectacular and even though I was in pain, it was still exhilarating.
Hopefully, I will be mended next week, and I can pop back and claim another couple of Wainwrights!
