In this video, we dive deep into fully automating the fabrication (shop drawing) process for facade composite panels using Grasshopper.
The focus of this tutorial is to build an algorithm that takes pre-unrolled panel geometries and converts them into production-ready, fully dimensioned, and tagged technical drawings. You will see step-by-step how we replace hours of manual dimensioning, coding, and layout work with a parametric workflow.
⚠️ Important Note on the Process: Composite panel fabrication drawings should actually consist of 2 parts: Part 1: Unroll drawings of composite panels in any modulation. Since I am still working on resolving this part, in this video, I am demonstrating the 2nd part of the process.
