Описание: In this powerful Bible story from Genesis 16 and Genesis 17, we explore one of the most emotional moments in the life of Abram, Sarai, and Hagar. What happens when people try to rush God’s promise? And what does God do when faith is tested by waiting?

In Genesis 16, Sarai struggles with years of waiting for the child God promised. In her frustration, she gives her servant Hagar to Abram so they can have a child. Soon Hagar becomes pregnant, but tension grows between the two women. Hagar eventually runs away into the wilderness, where something extraordinary happens — God meets her there and shows that He is the God who sees and hears the suffering of His people.

In Genesis 17, God appears again to Abram and renews His covenant. God changes Abram’s name to Abraham and Sarai’s name to Sarah, giving them a new identity and a renewed promise. Even though Abraham is nearly 100 years old, God promises that Sarah will give birth to a son named Isaac, through whom the covenant will continue.
