11 Crore Cash Seized!! DK Shivakumar IT Raid Detailed Report

Описание: The income tax department on Wednesday morning raided the residence of Karnataka's energy minister DK Shivakumar as well as his room in Eagleton Golf Resort in the city's outskirts.
The minister is looking after 44 MLAs from Gujarat who have been lodged at the since Saturday so they aren't poached by the BJP ahead of the Gujarat Rajya Sabha (RS) poll. A team of 10 tax officials, along with personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force, conducted the it ride at the resort at around 7am this morning. The team also raided Kumar's brother DK Suresh's residence.
According to I-T officials, a total of 39 premises of the minister and his family are being raised by a team of about 120 Income Tax Department officials with the aid of central paramilitary forces. The raids are taking place in Delhi and Karnataka.
IT officials said Rs 11 crore cash was recovered from the search of various properties linked to the minister, who has been taken to his house in Bengaluru from the resort by the IT team.
According to PTI, note counting machines have been brought at a location in Safdarjung Enclave in Delhi and in Hassan and Mysuru in Karnataka to count the cash.
