Compost Bin 1 Year Update and moving compost to raised bed gardens

Описание: Our DIY Pallet Compost Bin was started in March 2020, its now May 1, 2021 and time to move the compost to the raised bed garden. Composting is a great way to add organic material to your gardening soil, enriching and loosening the soil and aiding in moisture retention. Over the last year 40-50 bags of dried leaves, chicken droppings and kitchen scraps have been periodically added to the pile, in addition to turning the piles once every 6-8 weeks for aeration and oxygenation of the compost to promote growth of the beneficial composting organisms and bacteria.
