Solo drive from Mumbai to Wai in monsoon fog — Mumbai-Pune Expressway, NH48, and the stretch up to Dhom Dam, all in the Brezza facelift.

This one's a weekend drive I'd been wanting to do for a while — Mumbai to Wai, roughly 230 km, starting around 7:30 AM to beat the traffic on the expressway. The route runs through the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, cuts through Pune city, and continues on NH48 past Khed Shivapur, Shirwal, and Khambatki Ghat before dropping into Wai and finally Dhom Dam.

No parking available at the Talegaon food court, worth keeping in mind if you're planning a stop there

A few tips if you're planning the same drive:

Start early (before 7:30-8 AM) to avoid Mumbai-Pune Expressway traffic and the Pune city stretch
Keep some buffer time for the Khambatki Ghat section, especially in monsoon with fog and reduced visibility
Talegaon food court doesn't have parking, so plan your breakfast stop accordingly — Khed Shivapur side worked out better on this trip
Carry cash/FASTag for multiple toll points along the way
