Gashapon (ガシャポン), also referred to as gachapon (ガチャポン), or capsule toys, are a assortment of vending machine-dispensing capsule toys common in Japan. "Gashapon" is onomatopoeic from the two sounds "gasha" (or "gacha") for the hand-cranking activity of a toy-vending machine, and "pon" for the toy capsule landing within the collection plate.
Gachapon (Capsule Toys) usually cost from 100-500 yen or about $1-5 dollars.
