Black and Decker Trimmer Troubleshooting: Stopped Working Won't Spin

There could be many reasons if your black and decker trimmer not working and not spinning.
I would list down the 4 most common reasons for this issue.
1) Faulty trimmer motor
If the motor is faulty, then you would need to replace the trimmer motor. I have another video on this channel that shows the step by step guide on how to replace the trimmer motor.
2) Voltage supplied to the motor
Before that, you could test if your trimmer motor is still working by connecting it directly to your 18V black and decker battery. And you could measure if the voltage supplied to the trimmer is within the acceptable range.
3) Faulty trigger
As you can see from the video above, when I press the trigger, it start to supply power to the trimmer motor and the start spinning. If the trigger is not working, there won't be any electrical power supply to the trimmer motor.
4) Faulty Line Push button
There is one line push button on the black and decker trimmer to let you release more line manually.
The mechanism is to stop the trimmer motor when this line push button is being pressed, and let the inertia to release more string line. If this line push is faulty and always triggered, it would brake the motor at all time and the motor won't be able to spin.
