I wired Claude Desktop to Power BI Desktop via a custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool so an agent can explore the model, create measures, run DAX, and trace performance end‑to‑end.
In this demo I use the Contoso model and run real developer workflows to see where agentic Power BI is already useful - and where you still need guardrails.
