The Punjab government is moving forward with plans to build a new airport in Lahore, with the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) identifying a potential site near Ravi City, close to the M-3 motorway.
The proposed airport will be situated around 30 kilometers from Allama Iqbal International Airport. While consultations on the project’s cost and financing model are ongoing, authorities emphasized that the plan is still in its early stages.
