International Youth Day: Training tomorrow’s seaweed farmers today

Описание: At the WorldFish Nusatupe Research Station in the Western Province of the Solomon Islands, young graduates are gaining hands-on experience in sustainable seaweed farming, from site selection to planting, harvesting, and using the right tools and techniques. Located in a thriving Marine Protected Area of over 20 years, and in partnership with the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources and the Western Provincial Government, this internship is equipping the next generation of young leaders to support resilient island food systems.
