In a major verdict in the sensational acid attack case that led to the death of a woman, the Hon’ble Balasore Special Court (SC/ST) has sentenced the accused husband to death. The judgment was delivered by Special Court Judge Abdul Samim Akhtar in Balasore, Odisha.

Reacting to the verdict, family members of the deceased expressed satisfaction and relief, stating, “The culprit has been awarded death penalty. We are happy.” They said the judgment has restored their faith in the justice system.
