When Disneyland chooses to celebrate a holiday, it is absolutely spectacular! Disneyland has fireworks every 4th of July, but they are not always patriotically-themed. That is what makes this fireworks shows so special - it is a lovely tribute to our country and it was absolutely magical to be there!
Of course, I was packed in front of Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty castle with 1,000s of other park guests, but if you can handle the crowds, there is always a little bit of extra magic added to your holidays when you spend them at a Disney park. If you want premium viewing of the fireworks shows on a holiday, be prepared to spend 3 - 4 hours sitting in front of the castle waiting for the show to begin. I choose to spend my time doing other things and am generally satisfied with a partial view, like this one, where I only had to wait 30 minutes or less.
