Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle from the Philippines is one of the most senior members of the Catholic Church. Nicknamed “Chito”, Tagle is remembered as a brilliant student who rapidly climbed the Church’s ranks to become archbishop of Manila and later one of Pope Francis’ advisers.
