DNA with Rahul Sinha: | Lord Hanuman

A massive statue of Lord Hanuman has been installed in Texas, USA. This statue has now become a target for Trump supporters, who are actively spreading hatred against it. They are openly declaring that if the Republican Party wins the midterm elections, the statue will be torn down. Why are hardliners in a country like the US—which claims to offer equal opportunities and respect for all religions—upset about a statue of Lord Hanuman? Despite these claims, why are derogatory remarks being made against Lord Hanuman, a revered deity of Hindus? Why does the US—a nation that compiles lengthy reports even over minor incidents involving minorities in other countries—fail to see such threats directed at Hindus?
