Описание: For many years, the tale of Annie Oakley has been recounted, published, and republished, with numerous videos and television shows created about her life, and the information presented has often been accepted as accurate.

However… the truth is that much of this information is false.

Shirl Kasper, who authored a high acclaimed and remarkable book on Annie Oakley’s life, has recently released an afterword in 2023 that outlines numerous corrections to the misconceptions held by historians, authors, and society regarding Annie Oakley.

In this video, I intend to share the facts about Annie Oakley’s life, her journey, her experiences, from her humble beginnings to her entry into the show business and through the end of her life.

The works I used for this series are obviously Shirl Kasper’s book, another biography that was written by Courtney Riley Cooper, Annie Oakley by Captivating History, an Autobiography by Annie herself and lastly, with the huge help from Ellien, Karen, Brenda, Cathy and Don from the Annie Oakley Center, thank you for all your amazing help, y’all are amazing.

Annie Oakley was resolute in her convictions and faced challenges with unwavering strength.
